Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed Lukoil to complete a transaction to acquire shares of energy company EL5-Energo, owned by UROC Limited. The relevant order was published on: official legal information portal.

According to the document, Lukoil is allowed to complete the acquisition of “2,618,132,410 ordinary shares of the public joint-stock company EL5-Energo, owned by UROC LIMITED.”

Thus, Lukoil was allowed to acquire UROC’s 7.4% stake in EL5-Energo.

According to EL5-Energo, Lukoil owns 56.44% of the company. Thus, the oil company’s share may increase to 63.84 percent.
