General Director of Roscosmos state company Yuri Borisov said that the organization’s plans include close cooperation with Russian private space companies. He mentioned this in an interview TASS.
“The main program for us is Sphere, but we will also work closely with our private companies that have plans to create their own groups,” Borisov said.
The head of Roscosmos noted that the growth in demand for space services exceeds the average growth in global GDP, so the Russian Federation plans to develop this field by creating and expanding various services, and this includes cooperation with domestic private companies.
Also Borisov stated In an interview, Roscosmos values contacts with foreign partners. He believes that maintaining contact with Western counterparts is important for the continuation and preservation of manned programs, at least with regard to the International Space Station (ISS).
