Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which PromAvtoConsult LLC received the right to purchase the Russian business of the German company Schaeffler. The document was officially revealed portalIt was created to publish legal information.
In particular, the head of state allowed the company to enter into transactions to acquire a 100% stake in the authorized capital of the Schaeffler Russian company. Moreover, the decision was taken within the framework of the Russian leader’s decree dated August 5, 2022 on the use of special economic measures against the backdrop of unfriendly actions of a number of foreign countries and organizations towards Moscow.
“Allowing the limited liability company PromAvtoConsult to complete a transaction to acquire 100% of the shares in the authorized capital of the limited liability company Scheffler Rus,” the document states.
The German company Schaeffler specializes in the production of automotive components. It primarily produces bearing-based products.
