Union State Secretary Dmitry Mezentsev said Western sanctions pressure has not changed the trend of Belarus and Russia towards strengthening the foundations of the agro-industrial complex. This was reported by TASS.

“Today, the agro-industrial complex for Belarus and Russia is a source of pride and an absolute factor in ensuring the national food security of the two states united by the union agreement,” he said.

According to him, “the unprecedented phase of sanctions pressure imposed by the West on Belarus and Russia… has not changed the trend towards strengthening the foundations of the agro-industrial complex, which is one of the priorities.”
