The government will allocate one billion rubles for the modernization of airports in Dagestan and Yakutia. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced this during the meeting. RIA News.

According to the Prime Minister, thanks to these funds, another runway will be built in Makhachkala and the airport in Olekminsk will be improved in 2024.

Mishustin noted that this will help increase the number of flights and passengers will be able to travel comfortably.

For this purpose, the ROSC-1 radar-optical complex developed by NPO Almaz will be used. It is able to distinguish a drone from a bird – the creators of the device have developed data libraries that will help compare information from the locator and clearly recognize the object.
