Venezuela has announced its readiness to support any OPEC measures aimed at resolving the situation between Israel and Palestine. This was reported by RIA News referring to Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil Pinto.
According to the minister, Caracas has not yet seen any discussion on the oil embargo on Israel, but will support any OPEC measures aimed at establishing dialogue between the conflicting parties.
Gil Pinto also described what is happening in Palestine as a “crime” and a violation of international humanitarian agreements. According to him, Israel is actually committing genocide against the Palestinian people.
Before that, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian in the name OPEC countries are embargoing oil supplies to Israel and also prosecuting Tel Aviv for its actions towards Palestine. The conflict between Israel and Palestine has been going on for decades and is one of the hotspots of tension in the Middle East.
