Chinese authorities have implemented enhanced statistical controls on exports of oil, iron ore, copper concentrate, potassium fertilizers and rare earth elements. This was reported by TASS Referring to the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.
According to the new rules, companies involved in international trade of these goods must provide data on export and import operations to the state registry.
The decision came into force on October 31 and will be valid for two years. A similar procedure was previously applied to 14 other types of products: soybeans, rapeseed, soybean and rapeseed oil, soybean meal, milk, whey, pork, beef, lamb and related products, as well as corn pulp and partly sugar. It is stated that for the 14 listed items, the previous rules for monitoring entry into the territory of the republic are preserved.
