The State Duma adopted the bill on the 2024-2026 budget of the Federal Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (MHIF) in the first reading. This was reported by InterfaxWith.

According to the document, MHIF revenues are planned to be 3.7 trillion rubles in 2024 and expenses are planned to be 3.9 trillion rubles. The budget deficit of the fund will be 147.1 billion rubles. It is estimated that MHIF revenues will be 3.9 trillion rubles in 2025 and expenses will be 4 trillion rubles. The deficit is planned to be 33.8 billion rubles.

It is estimated that the fund’s income will be 4.2 trillion rubles and its expenses will be 4.2 trillion rubles in 2026. The deficit will be 18.2 billion rubles. The main source of income of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund is insurance premiums for compulsory health insurance. It is planned that their share of income will be 85-86 percent within three years.

For financing high-tech medical care in federal clinics, 213.7 billion rubles will be provided in 2024, 228.4 billion rubles in 2025 and 243.6 billion rubles in 2026.
