The European Union has refused to lift sanctions against Iran after October 18, as was required under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran’s nuclear program. This was reported by TASS Citing the EU press service.

“The Council decided to take the necessary steps to maintain restrictive measures against Iran within the framework of the nuclear non-proliferation regime,” the statement said.
