The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation did not receive requests from manufacturers about problems with the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles and their components from China. This was reported by TASS in the press service of the department.
Previously Kommersant newspaper reportedIt was stated that China’s restrictions on the export of unmanned aerial vehicles have led to the suspension of the supply of components and drones weighing more than 4 kg, and in connection with this, retailers and device manufacturers in Russia are facing shortages.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that the situation is under control with China’s restrictive measures. UAV manufacturers were warned in advance to increase their stocks before export controls were imposed.
The Ministry assured that there are currently no reports from domestic manufacturers of any problems with the export of UAS and their components.
