Ambassador of the Philippines to the Russian Federation Igor Bailen said: RIA NewsIt is stated that Manila is interested in importing Russian oil products.

According to him, Philippine officials are ready to discuss the issue of imports of petroleum products within the framework of the trade and economic commission in October.

“As far as I know, oil product supply has not been provided yet. But there is definitely such interest. There are certain issues that we are addressing right now,” Bailen shared.

According to the ambassador, Brazil produces more than 3 million barrels of oil per day. However, the country produces heavy raw materials and there are few factories to process them. Therefore, Brazil imports gasoline and diesel.
