The Central Bank of the Russian Federation issued the “George Victorious” gold investment coin with a face value of 50 rubles. In this respect reported press service of the regulator.

The coin is made of 999 gold and has a circulation of 150 thousand.

The new banknote features the embossed coat of arms of Russia on the obverse, and George the Victorious, spearing a snake on horseback, on the reverse.

“The issued coin is a legal instrument of cash payment on the territory of the Russian Federation and must be accepted at face value without restrictions for any type of payment,” said a press release from the Central Bank.
