Russian authorized banks suspended the issuance of new mortgage loans under the rural mortgage program. This was announced on: press service Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the agency, the suspension is meant to prevent overspending on the central bank’s key interest rate to 12%, as well as the ceiling indicators of budget liabilities.
“After the change in the current economic situation, the issuances will continue,” the Ministry of Agriculture said.
As noted in the press service, the ministry continues to provide state support for the development of housing construction and improvement, for which 5.7 billion rubles were allocated this year.
