The Russians shared their short and long-term forecasts for the dollar. All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM).
The report says that, according to these estimates, in three months the dollar will cost an average of 95 rubles, and in a year – 97.
During the survey conducted at the end of July, it was noted that the society was not ready to exceed the 100-ruble dollar bar.
One in five (20%) admitted that they regularly monitor the exchange rate of the dollar against the ruble. The other 38% sometimes follow it. 42% do not follow.
The survey was conducted on July 29, 2023 among 1.6 thousand Russians aged 18 and over.
Also, this survey showedMore than two-thirds (68%) of Russians prefer to keep their savings in rubles, while only 6% prefer to keep their savings in dollars. According to the survey, 4% of respondents keep their savings in euros, while 4% keep their savings in other currencies.
Previously, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation sharply raised up to 12% key rate in an unscheduled meeting.
