United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) may begin production of the SSJ 100 aircraft at its HAL factory in India. About it in the broadcast of the TV channel “Russia 24” said Yuri Slyusar, head of the UAC.
“In a fairly short period of time, we can start producing SSJ aircraft for the Indian market there,” he said.
Slyusar noted that the HAL factory produces aircraft for the Indian Air Force, including Su-30 aircraft. According to him, more than 270 aircraft were built at the factory, there is a large base and trained personnel.
