According to the press service of the company, the Orenburgneft company (an entity of Rosneft) began to develop the Biktovskoye oil field with total recoverable reserves of more than 2 million tons of oil and 64 million m3 of gas.
It was discovered as a result of mineral exploration and evaluation drillings. The wells were built on the basis of seismic maps obtained as a result of reinterpretation of 3D seismic data. The use of new seismic data processing techniques in geological surveys has made it possible to extract commercial oil flows from the Carboniferous and Devonian deposits.
Plans for the development of the Biktovskoye field include the construction of a crude oil mass measurement plant and approximately 19 km of pipelines to transport oil to the operating facilities of the nearby Tananykskoye field.
The construction of 10 km of new energy lines and transformer centers continues to ensure the energy supply of the site. Using existing field infrastructure provides a synergetic effect and reduces development time.
“Our experts create more than 30 hydrodynamic field models each year in the RN-KIM corporate program that reflects the most important processes occurring in the reservoir. This modeling helps analyze oil and gas production processes and select the right geological and technical measures. We are also planning to do some geotechnical studies. We calculate the optimal technological regimes of the measures in the MRM program (monitoring the field development) and the wells in the Mekhfond program, both of these programs were created by Rosneft,” said the statement.
It was previously reported Orenburgneft was recorded Electricity consumption of more than 1.3 billion rubles.
