Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the implementation of the Arctic LNG-2 project for the production of liquefied natural gas. It has been reported TASS.
“The first project has been successfully implemented and is working,” said the head of state at a meeting on the installation of the Novatek-Murmansk Center for the Construction of Large-Tonnage Offshore Structures.
According to him, Arctic LNG-2 will also be implemented on time and with the required quality.
As the Russian leader stated, the implementation of these plans will also affect the loading of the North Sea Route.
“After the implementation of the second part of the Arctic LNG-2, the Northern Sea Route will be filled,” said the Russian leader, noting that the largest class icebreakers are needed.
