Stanislav Kuznetsov, vice chairman of the board of Sberbank, said that several dozen cyberattacks have been carried out every day since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation against Sberbank.
“Since the beginning of the special military operation, Sberbank has been under constant cyber attacks and regularly records the increased activity of hackers. <...> Kuznetsov said the bank records several dozen simultaneous DDoS attacks each day.
According to him, one of the most serious attacks was recorded on May 6. The vice chairman of the board emphasized that the experts of the cyber defense center managed to reflect this and that the incident did not affect the availability of the bank’s services.
“We think that a cyber war has been declared against Russia, where the number of cyber-attacks has exceeded 100,000,” he said.
