“As of April 12, electricity generation fully meets the needs of consumers. There is sufficient power reserve in the power system. Thanks to this, it is possible to export electricity to Moldova (30-95 MW at different hours) and from today to Poland (up to 75 MW at different hours).
April 7 TASS reportedUkrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko signed a document allowing the start of the process of reinstating electricity exports to Europe. According to the head of the department, the Ukrainian energy system has been operating without restrictions for consumers for almost two months and has a power reserve.
Galushchenko expects the resumption of exports to attract additional financial resources. He added that in case of violation of electricity supply to Ukrainian consumers, electricity exports may be suspended.
