The Russian Ministry of Health has approved the list of prescription drugs allowed for sale online as part of a pilot project. It has been reported TASS Regarding the press service of the Ministry.

An experiment on the online sale of prescription drugs is launched on March 1 in Moscow, the Moscow region and the Belgorod region.

The list was created on the basis of criteria approved by the Russian government.

“The list of drugs allowed for remote sale includes 904 international generic names, these are drugs of various therapeutic groups,” said Mikhail Murashko, head of the Russian Ministry of Health.

He emphasized that within the framework of this project, the interaction between all participants in the processes will be studied: doctors, pharmacy organizations and patients.

According to the minister, the online format will increase the availability of medicines.
