Rosoboronexport General Manager Alexander Mikheev said that negotiations between Russia and its partners within the framework of military-technical cooperation (MTC) are now closed due to the sanctions situation. It has been reported TASS.

“The state of sanctions creates a certain closed nature of relations, negotiations, and we try not to talk about it. But we can say with confidence: Russian weapons are in great demand and authority. That’s why we’re here: to maintain relationships with our partners, to tell them more, to offer them,” said Mikheev.

Former Managing Director of Rosoboronexport saidThat Russia invites the countries of the Middle East to take part in a joint project to jointly produce weapons and create the fifth generation light fighter Checkmate.

Mikheev added that other promising areas of military-technical cooperation with the countries of the region include projects for joint development and production of air defense equipment, naval equipment and weapons for the ground forces.
