Fuel pellet production in Russia decreased by 20% in 2022 13:33

As stated by the federal forest inventory agency “Roslesinforg”, pellet production in the Far East increased by 30% last year.

According to the analytical agency WhatWood, the volume of pellet exports from Russia in 2022 fell by 24% to 1.8 million tons. The biggest blow to the sector was the European restrictive measures, which caused exports to the European Union (EU) to fall by half to 929 thousand tons.
