Annual inflation rates in Russia declined from 11.57% to 11.49%. It has been reported to report “On the current price situation” of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
“Annual inflation continued to decline to 11.49 percent. <...> c 11.57%,” says the review.
In the week between January 17 and January 23 this year, inflation fell to 0.14% from 0.15% a week ago, the ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development, the reason for the slowdown in inflation is the rising prices in the non-food segment, mainly due to the fall in prices of electrical and household appliances.
However, the ministry added that prices have increased in food products (+0.27%) and tourism services (+0.13%).
Formerly Russian financiers assumedIn March-May, prices in Russia will increase by 3% this spring. According to them, inflation should slow down in March-May.
