Vedomosti: pharmaceutical manufacturers announce problems in transit of drugs from Belarus 10:07

It has become even more difficult for Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers to transport drugs and raw materials for their production to Russia via Belarus. The newspaper writes about it vedomosti Referring to the letter of the Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (ARPM) to Senator Vladimir Krugloy, member of the labor, social policy and health commission of the parliamentary assembly of the Belarusian and Russian Union.

It was noted that both Russian and foreign members of the association that carries medicines from European countries complain about the existence of such a problem.

In total, ARPM includes 20 companies, including R-pharm, Petrovax, AstraZeneca, Stada, Sanofi, Novartis.

The association’s letter says that difficulties with transportation from Belarusian territory arose after the decision of the Belarusian Cabinet in September to impose a ban on the movement of trucks and tractors registered in the European Union through the republic. According to the innovations, from September 20, drugs and raw materials transported from the territory of Belarus must be included in the state register of drugs (medicinal products) of the country or in the Unified Register of Registered Medicines of the EAEU.

ARPM notes that not all Russian drugs are included in the Belarusian registry.

At the same time, as ARPM pointed out, not all Russian drugs are included in the Belarusian registry and are in the process of filling out drugs in Eurasia, with few registered drugs.

RNC Pharma representative Nikolai Bespalov told Vedomosti that a number of medicinal products will likely be “suspended” due to the new rules. According to him, drug delivery to Russia now requires twice as many cars as before September.

Former Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko declarationThe country is rapidly increasing domestic drug production.
