The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has simplified its main models. Two starter kits Patriot and pickup truck (Classic and Comfort) in the version without driver airbag received a new steering wheel. Hunter, “bread” and “tadpole” from now on it can be purchased with a zero-emission class engine. Fuel injection is still in the propulsion system, the engine power has not officially changed. You can save 20,000 rubles by choosing a car with “dirty” exhaust (25,000 for minibuses). Also on the price lists are versions of the fifth eco class.
Of course, after the abolition of concessions in the legislation, such performances will not be subject to a complete ban, but difficulties may arise when entering certain areas of large cities.
AVTOVAZ
September started with an increase in prices for simplified subsidies. The starting prices remained unchanged, and the rest of the equipment was thrown from 10 to 25 thousand rubles.
In August, Granta and Niva Legend sold better than a year ago. The factory reported reaching pre-crisis levels, although this is true for only two models, and now they are devoid of security systems.
On the 8-valve engines of Grants and Largus (90 hp VAZ‑11182) domestic timing belts from Balakovorezinotekhnika appeared instead of thoroughbred Gates. The result is a reduction in the replacement interval from 90 to 45 thousand km. Apparently, the most careful owners will switch to a replacement every 30 thousand km. Although the current engine is “unplugged”, you could run the risk of driving it all the way.
The fate of the XRAY model has ended. The head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, has officially confirmed that the XRAY will not be returned to the conveyor. It is built on the B0 platform and contains a great deal of imported components. Moreover, even in prosperous times, XRAY sold poorly, which has long sparked rumors of his firing.
According to Maxim Sokolov, AVTOVAZ will restore the pre-sanction line of models next year – it is clear that without Xray. A few days earlier, Vice President for Sales and Marketing Dmitry Kostromin said that the possibility of assembling Renault models (AVTOVAZ has the right to do them) “will be discussed separately in the board of directors.” Although it will be much harder to launch them than XRAY.
In addition, Maxim Sokolov promised a full crossover on the Vesta platform, new generation of subsidies two years later a modified Renault-Nissan CMF-B platform (the successor was developed thereon). And next year there is Niva Legend Sport: It will be a 120 horsepower car with a 16-valve engine from Grants Sport.
