Geely has put up for sale a seven-seater Jiaji L minivan. According to Autohome.com.cn, this large and practical car is quite cheap – from 119,800 yuan or from 1,049,448 rubles.
An interesting fact: note that in China it is customary to indicate the numbers “8” in hundreds, and not “9”, as in Russia or Europe (for example, we “round” down to “900”: from 1.121 .900 – this is Lada Vesta’s initial suggested retail price). In China, the number 8 is believed to bring good luck.
The top-end Geely Jiaji L costs 142,800 yuan or 1,250,928 rubles. In fact, for that money you can only buy a used Vesta in Russia – dealers continue to hang up cars with additional equipment and impose additional services, therefore the new Vesta costs about 2 million rubles.
In China, for 1,049,448 rubles, you can buy a minibus with a length of 4826 mm, a width of 1909 mm, a height of 1695 mm and a huge wheelbase of 2805 mm. In such a car 7 people fit comfortably and there is enough space for luggage (513 liters).
The interior of the Jiaji L has a digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch multimedia system with touchscreen and more than a dozen electronic security systems and assistants that assist the driver.
Under the hood of the minivan is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo engine with an output of 181 hp, which is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch robot. As befits a family car, fuel consumption is very moderate – 6.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
In Russia, minivans are not popular today, so Geely may not bring Jiaji L to our country, and the car will increase in price on the way. However, this is a global model and will be sold in many countries.
