The expert also confirmed that this was mainly related to Chinese cars.
It happened before that KnownFollowing the results of the first quarter of 2025 in Russia, the sale of new cars of all segments decreased by 27%. A total of 287.2 thousand cars were sold during this period. In March, car sales fell by 45%.
Thus, 245 thousand cars were sold (-26%), LCV-24 thousand (-16%), trucks-15.4 thousand (-46%), buses are 2.5 thousand (-55%). In addition, 2.1 thousand new electric vehicles were sold in the first quarter, 67% less than the same period of 2024.
