“The State Duma has prepared an application to Mikhail Chernikov, head of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, requesting that the permissible speed on highways that meet these requirements be increased to 150 km/h. the publication says it has security requirements like the M11 Neva or M12 Vostok.
If the initiative is approved, drivers will be able to speed up to 169 km/h without paying a penalty. Its authors are members of the New People party Vladislav Davankov and Anton Tkachev.
