The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill providing for an increase in the period for the restoration of a vehicle covered by compulsory traffic insurance from 30 working days to 45 working days. about this reports TASS.
The document was initiated by senators Andrei Kutepov and Valery Vasiliev.
The explanatory note to the bill states that car dealers, service stations and insurance companies under sanctions face the problem of a lack of spare parts and a breakdown in logistics chains that ensure timely delivery for car repairs.
The document also states that in the current situation it often becomes impossible for insurance companies to comply with deadlines for fulfilling their obligations, so they are forced to terminate contracts with service stations.
