The highest fines are imposed in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the lowest in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Magadan Region.
Kolyadov noted that the average fine for a driving violation in Russia over the past five years is about 800 rubles. It is noteworthy that 90 percent of Russians pay fines immediately and do not allow any delays.
