At the end of August, the most popular second-hand cars in Russia were domestic models. This is stated in the Avito Auto study, which socialbites.ca has. According to the results, the average cost of a used car in August was 950 thousand rubles.
“In August 2024, the most popular brands were VAZ (Lada) with a demand share of 26.8%, Toyota with 6.9%, and Hyundai with 5.6%. Also in the top 5 brands are Kia and Volkswagen. The leader in terms of supply dynamics throughout the year was the Toyota brand (up 39.4%).
In the ranking of the most demanded models, Lada Priora (4.1%) took first place. It is followed by Lada Granta (3%), Lada Samara (2.8%) and Zhiguli (2%). Hyundai Solaris (2%) is in fifth place.
The best supply figures for the month were shown by the Lada Granta model with a share of 2.9%. The second and third lines are occupied by the Lada Priora and Ford Focus, respectively.
Lada Granta showed the highest increase in the number of advertisements on an annual basis (+63.3%).
