Russian automaker AvtoVAZ has begun production of Lada Vesta cars with a localized ESC stability control system, the company’s press service reports.
“ESC (electronic stability control) returned to Lada Vesta thanks to localization in the Russian Federation. The stability control system combines several functions that increase safety and driving comfort. These are the anti-skid system, traction control system, hill start assistant, anti-lock braking system, as well as switching on the hazard warning lights in case of emergency braking,” the statement reads.
AvtoVAZ also returned to the Lada Vesta a rear-view camera with dynamic lines, rain and light sensors, and two-tone alloy wheels with a diameter of 16 inches.

The extended Aura sedan based on the Lada Vesta was shown in Sochi in June 2023. The car is equipped with a 1.8 engine with a capacity of 122 hp. and automatic transmission. Aura is built on the basis of the updated Vesta and has an additional 25 cm of space in the cabin for rear row passengers. The interior of the sedan is made of genuine Russian-made leather and a premium audio system is installed.
