Chinese automaker FAW announced that the Bestune T90 mid-size crossover will appear in Russia in the near future. This was reported by the brand’s press service.
The company noted that the new product will be the brand’s flagship in Russia. It is known that the car is built on a modernized FMA-A2 platform. Its dimensions are 4718 x 1880 x 1710 mm, and the wheelbase is 2772 mm. The technical equipment of the new model is unknown. But in Belarus the car is sold with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 179 hp. or with a 2-liter supercharged unit producing 252 hp. In the first case, the T90 received a 7-speed “robot”, and in the second – an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The crossover also features an 8-inch instrument cluster, head-up display, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, etc.
Before that reportedautomaker FAW will complete sales of the flagship Bestune T99 crossover in Russia next year, and it will be replaced by an updated model;
“We expect an updated T99 next year, so we are selling the rest now. Maintenance and servicing of the machines will remain the same, the FAW press service said.
The company announced that deliveries of cars to Russia have already been completed. FAW Bestune T99 is designed for five people. Its length is 4800 mm, the wheelbase is 2870 mm. Under the hood is a 2.0 turbo engine with a capacity of 218 hp, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission of the Japanese brand Aisin. Drive is transmitted to the front wheels.
