Mixed-style fighter (MMA) Khabib Nurmagomedov has a chance to return the expensive car fleet recently seized by the Federal Tax Service (FTS). This is the opinion of the Life.ru portal Shared Vice President of the International Union of Lawyers, Candidate of Legal Sciences Olga Vlasova.
“It is quite possible to return seized property and the confiscated vehicle fleet is no exception. It is possible for a vehicle to be seized for unpaid debts or taxes, and that has happened,” he said.
The lawyer noted that there are two ways to return the fleet of vehicles to the fighter: either he will have to pay off the debt to the state, or he will replace the seizure of the vehicles with another method that will allow the liquidation of the debt.
Let us remind you that Nurmagomedov owed more than 300 million rubles to the tax authorities, in connection with which his property was confiscated, several companies were closed, and the accounts of the fight promotion Eagle FC were blocked. Details – in material “socialbites.ca”.
Khabib Nurmagomedov fought his last fight in the fall of 2020, defeating American Justin Gaethje. Immediately after the fight, he announced his retirement from professional career, announcing that he promised his mother that he would not fight without his father.
The athlete fought 29 fights in mixed martial arts (MMA) and won each of them. In 2021, Khabib was named the person of the year in sports as a result of a poll conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation. On October 22, 2023, Nurmagomedov announced that he was quitting everything related to fighting.
