A 1979 Ford Escort with 17,000 miles (27.4 thousand km) on the clock is up for sale in the UK. Its first owner had the car parked in a garage after meeting three men he suspected of being car thieves. reports Carscoops.
The car has been sitting idle since the early 1980s. It was in operation for about two years. The owner of the car once noticed three suspicious men near the car. He managed to get behind the wheel and drive away without any obstacles, but the driver began to suspect he was being followed.
Having reached the garage, the man parked the car and stopped driving. A Ford Escort in sports modification RS 2000 in excellent condition was discovered and purchased by one of the brand’s fans in 2021. The car is currently offered for sale by a company selling classic cars for £94.2 thousand (10.3 million RUB).
