Automaker Cadillac has shown off the updated Escalade SUV. After restyling, the model visually approaches the electric Escalade IQ, which will be introduced in 2023.
The updated Escalade received huge headlights, a larger radiator grille and an illuminated corporate logo. The bumper and exhaust pipes have also changed. For an additional fee, the manufacturer offers to purchase 24-inch wheels for the Escalade, the largest of those available for the model.
Inside the cabin, Cadillac has updated the front fascia. It now consists of two visually combined 35- and 20-inch screens. The updated Escalade also features 128-color lighting, two tablet screens for rear passengers and electric drive for all five doors.
In terms of technology, the Escalade has only one change – the updated version does not have a 3.0 six-cylinder turbodiesel with 281 hp. The car is equipped with a V8 6.2 with 426 hp. and 624 Nm. The transmission remains the same – a 10-speed automatic.
The updated Escalade will go into production in the United States by the end of the year. The model’s price tag will start at $95,000 (8.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
It happened before that knownThe new mid-size crossover Belgee X70 has appeared in Russian dealerships, the company said. The first batch includes six Style cars with front-wheel drive. Other trim levels, including all-wheel drive, are expected to be available in August.
The Belgee X70 car (previously sold in the Russian Federation under the name Geely Atlas Pro) will cost 2.6 million rubles in Russia, without taking into account discounts as part of branded marketing programs. Four versions will be available on our market, all with 1.5 turbo engines. The car is available with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
