Zeekr reveals details of new 7X crossover 18:10

The Zeekr brand, owned by the Chinese concern Geely, has revealed technical information about the new crossover, which should compete with the Tesla Model Y. reports Car NewsChina.

The car was given the name 7X, symbolizing the similarity of the design of this model with the Zeekr 007 sedan, which is already produced by this brand. Previously, the crossover was planned to be called Ark.

The length of the crossover is 4825 mm, the wheelbase is 2925 mm. It is 75 mm longer, 10 mm wider and 32 mm higher than its main competitor, the American Tesla. The main design feature of the new Zeekr is the interactive display integrated into the front part.

The vehicle has a modern 800-volt electrical system. The entry-level Zeekr 7X will have a battery that can be charged to 80% charge in 15 minutes and will provide a range of 500 km. More expensive versions will be equipped with a triple battery developed by CATL.

The power unit of the Zeekr 007, which is expected to be used in the crossover, produces 416 hp. for the initial rear-wheel drive configuration. The all-wheel drive version produces 636 hp. In China, the car will cost 240-350 thousand yuan (2.9-4.2 million rubles).

It was previously known how many Russians there were spent for cars within six months.
