Za Rulem magazine’s automobile expert Alexander Vinogradov tested the Chinese crossover Jetour Dashing and said about the disadvantages of the car.

According to him, Jetour Dashing is interesting because its production is developed by the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. Therefore, there is a possibility that car prices will not increase.

The expert complained about the inconvenient menu for turning on climate control and the heated steering wheel. Turning on cruise control turned out to be very difficult. It can be activated using the right steering column switch. Since there are no symbols in the selector, it is difficult to guess whether the option works.

The Jetour Dashing robotic gearbox is poorly constructed. In traffic jams, the vehicle starts to move with a delay and does so suddenly. When reversing, the vehicle maintains high speeds but also moves slowly. Experts believe that incorrect adjustment of clutch discs will negatively affect their service life.

In Russia, the front-wheel drive Jetour Dashing is offered with a 1.5 turbo engine producing 147 hp, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed “robot”. A 1.6 unit producing 190 hp is also available. This Dashing is equipped with a 7-speed manual transmission. The crossover is sold in four trim levels: Comfort Plus, Comfort, Elite and Luxury. Cost – from 2.49 to 3.19 million rubles.

Previously in the Russian market presented Jetour T2 pass. The model will be available in two trim levels: base Voyage and top-end Expedition. Price – from 3.7 million rubles. The length of the model is 4785 mm and the wheelbase is 2800 mm. The volume of the luggage compartment with the second row seats folded is 1494 liters.
