“As part of this project, the installation of gas cylinders and engine compartment equipment and final testing of the cars will be carried out at RariTEK’s production facilities, after which they will enter the market,” Ishmaev said.
He noted that the price difference will be compensated by savings in fuel within 9 months. The first gas-powered Moskvich cars are expected to roll off the production line in August. According to Ishmaev, the capacity of the plant will be enough to produce 4 thousand such machines per year in the future.
