The resale supply of used Chinese cars in Russia in the spring of 2024 increased by 71.6% compared to the same period last year. In this respect reports Kommersant, with reference to data from Avito Auto.
Demand for used Chinese cars sold through ads on the market increased by 15.2% year-on-year in spring 2024. The greatest interest was in Geely products.
Most often, Russians are trying to sell used Geely cars, which account for 22.7% of offers for Chinese brands. This is followed by Chery with 21.3%, Haval with 10% and Changan with 7.4%.
The average selling cost of a second-hand Geely is 2.4 million rubles, Chery – 1.6 million rubles. Second-hand Haval cars are offered for an average of 2.2 million rubles.
