Russian factory “PSMA Rus” started assembly of Citroen C5 Aircross cars 15:20

Today, at the Kaluga plant, the Automobile Technologies company begins serial production of Citroen C5 Aircross crossovers. About this on your Telegram channel stated Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Şapsha.

“Let me remind you that the start date of production at the old PSMA facility was given at the end of 2023. The equipment went through all stages of debugging. And the assembled pilot batch was tested for compliance with quality standards. Now a new and important stage is the introduction of the conveyor,” said Shapsha.

Car production volumes are not reported. The cost of the Citroen C5 Aircross, which is assembled in Russia, and its launch date at dealerships are unknown.

The automobile factory PSMA Rus LLC has been idle since April 2022. The company produced cars in a full cycle. Mini vans, compact vans and commercial vehicles (including those destined for the European market) from Peugeot, Opel and Citroen have rolled off the assembly line.
