Ukrainian MPs driving Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini were exempt from taxes 17:40

In Ukraine, owners of expensive car brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce have been officially exempted from luxury transportation tax. In this respect reports Bihus.Info publication, which analyzes the list of cars subject to increased tax in the country.

Luxury tax for Ukrainian owners of expensive cars is 25 thousand hryvnia (about 60 thousand rubles). According to the publication, the 2022 Ferrari SF90, sold for 650 thousand dollars, is not included in the list. This car in a more expensive configuration is in the collection of 25-year-old Ukrainian millionaire Alexander Slobozhenko.

Also missing from the list are Rolls-Royce cars driven by many deputies of the Verkhovna Rada. For example, Cullinan passes are used by businessmen-MPs Stepan Ivakhiv, Suto Mamoyan and Gennady Vatsak. At the same time, the latter’s candy house also owns the unlisted Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan and the Lamborghini Urus crossover. The list does not include McLaren, Alpina brands, some Mercedes-Benz models and other cars that should be subject to tax.

Additionally, there are errors that allow you to avoid tax even for cars that are on the list. For example, the engine dimensions of three Bentley models are incorrect.
