Diesel truck and diesel engine manufacturer Kamaz will produce 12 more driverless vehicles by September 2024. This was reported by TASSCiting an anonymous source close to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
The agency’s interlocutor said, “Kamaz will provide the production of 12 unmanned trucks.”
The material is based on the use of unmanned trucks, especially in Moscow and St. Petersburg, explains that it will be designed to travel along the highway connecting the M-11 Neva. Appropriate infrastructure for the operation of drones has been created on the M-11 highway, including a mathematical model of the road.
Unmanned KamAZ trucks in June started St. Traffic along the M-11 Neva highway from St. Petersburg to Moscow. For the first time, such cars appeared on public roads in Russia. Despite autonomous driving, there will be drivers in the cabins of the vehicles.
