The creators of the car say that the advantages of this solution are that all information about the car is in front of the driver’s eyes, and the buttons on the steering wheel are responsible for all functionality. There are two control options – in touch mode or using the joysticks. The company noted that a similar system is used in some racing cars, for example in Formula 1.
The Atom electric car will have a power plant that can accelerate the vehicle to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. The maximum power reserve will be 500 km. The manufacturer claims that the battery can get enough energy to drive the vehicle for 100 km with an eight-minute charge. In addition to the unusual steering wheel, the car will be equipped with hinged doors without a central pillar.
Production of atomic vehicles will be established at the Moskvich plant in the capital. The first electric cars will appear in showrooms in the second half of 2025. said in the company.
