Chery will introduce five new electric models in Russia in 2024. The cars will be sold under the Chery NEV sub-brand, the Chinese auto company said in a statement to socialbites.ca.
Two models of these will be A and C class electric vehicles, and three models will be E, C and B class hybrid vehicles. There are currently two hybrid crossovers in the Chery NEV lineup – Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 8 Pro, which entered the market in November. According to the company, these seven models cover more than 65% of the market.
With data On the “Chinese Cars” portal, new products with hybrid power plants will be the Chery Arrizo 8 sedan and Tiggo 4 Pro and Tiggo 9 crossover, while the electric ones will be the compact city car Chery eQ1 and eQ7 crossover. A separate dealer network will be created for the Chery NEV sub-brand, which will include 70 car dealerships.
