Great Wall Motors has patented the design of the new Haval Veyron crossover. The vehicle will go on sale in 2024 reports carnewschina.com.

Haval Veyron will receive a hybrid power plant with an internal combustion engine and two electric motors, the total power will be 462 hp.

In the brand’s model range, the model will be positioned higher than the Raptor crossover, which went on sale in October. In the Chinese market, the model will compete with Li Auto Li 7 and L8, Huawei Aito M7, BYD Tang and other crossovers at a price of about 200 thousand yuan (2.5 million rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication).

From 2005 to 2015, the French company Bugatti produced Veyron hypercars with engine power of over 1 thousand hp. The model takes its name from French racer Pierre Veyron.

The Chinese company Haval produces Jolion, F7, F7x, H9 and Dargo cars at its Russian factory in the Tula region.
