The Ministry of Industry and Trade supported the initiative of the largest Russian automakers to postpone the payment of recycling fees until 2023 and 2024. In this respect reports TASS, with reference to Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
“Our colleagues voiced the most important issue, and we really support this issue; In this regard, we are actively pursuing the possibility of postponing the due date of the recycling fee and extending the recycling fee until the end of the year. “We are working on this issue with our colleagues,” the agency said, quoting Kerimov’s words in his speech at the Federation Council.
It was announced that the attempt to postpone the payment of the recycling fee was made by AvtoVAZ, KamAZ, GAZ, Moskvich, TASS. The Ministry of Industry and Trade’s proposal includes postponing the payment of recycling fees for the fourth quarter of 2023 and three-quarters of 2024 until December 2024.
