Skoda’s presented new generation liftback and station wagon Superb. The car is available with three gasoline engines, two diesel engines and a rechargeable hybrid power plant, allowing it to travel up to 100 km on electric power.

The power of gasoline engines is 150 hp. up to 265 hp, diesel – 150 hp and 193 hp. The length of the new generation liftback increased by 43 mm compared to the previous model, and the length of the station wagon by 40 mm. Two types of media systems with a screen diagonal of 10 or 13 inches are available for the Superb; Three rotary arms with touch screens have been added to control machine functions. The station wagon is equipped with an electric tailgate in the new generation.

Production of the new Superb will start at a factory in Slovakia, where Volkswagen Passat station wagons are also assembled.
