A fuel tanker had a traffic accident in Yakutia, resulting in oil products being spilled. In this respect reports Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The incident took place in the city of Mirny. According to rescuers, a fuel tanker with a semi-trailer was heading towards Lensk. The truck overturned because the driver of the truck lost control of the steering wheel and flew into the ditch.
Fire brigade, traffic police and provincial and district administration teams arrived at the scene of the accident. While there was no fire after the accident, the amount of spilled petroleum products is being determined. Experts are busy pumping petroleum products from one fuel tanker to another vehicle.
A fire safety post containing the required amount of foam concentrate was placed at the scene. 20 people and 8 pieces of equipment from RSChS were brought to the scene of the accident.
