Chinese automaker BYD will launch a crossover similar to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class

Chinese automaker BYD will launch a new crossover that will look like the German SUV Mercedes-Benz G-Class. In this respect informs automobile house.com.cn The name of the car will be Equation Leopard 5.

According to the publication, the new crossover will be unveiled in China in August 2023. The car will receive a wide grille that connects the headlights, a flat windshield, large rear-view mirrors, roof rails and a spare wheel built into the trunk lid. The length of the car will be about 5 meters, and the wheelbase – 2.8 meters.

The car will receive a hybrid power plant. Both axles are driven by electric motors and the internal combustion engine only works to charge the battery. The total power of the unit will be 544 hp. BYD Equation Leopard 5 has a total range of 1200 km.
